Basic

Every season, we are barraged with list of new fashion “must-haves” that threaten to burn a hole in our pockets. But I've learned to work on my  existing wardrobe to keep my look current. Girls should own set of basic things depending on their  lifestyle and personal taste. We need to keep the basic stuff like reliable  blazer, a good pair of jeans and stylish ballet flats.

Statement Necklace

I'm always impress if I see someone sporting on a chunky or statement necklace. It takes tons of courage to put on statement necklace, especially if you're the shy type. Most of us consider our work place and lifestyle before wearing one. I get it we don't want to look trying hard. But, I encourage you to try it and if you're not brave enough to pile on as many statement necklaces, just try one or two strands for starters. 

Shorts Story

Take advantage of the urban heat and look gorge while at it. Shorts paired with long sleeve blouse is always a fresh low- key look. Finish off with pretty sandals or flats. 

Dilemma

Same thing with clothes, hairstyles go through its own cycles of trends. If you stick to one hairstyle, especially a very distinct one, it can make you look dated, especially if you're sporting a hairstyle that doesn't suit your face. It has been my dilemma for the past few months. I can't decide what hairstyle to try on. I'd like to keep my locks long and I wanted to keep my fringes. I wanted to reinvent my hairstyle, but I'm having a hard time deciding.

Dare to Bare

There's nothing wrong with showing some skin if you do it with elegance and grace. We may take advantage while we are still young. As we age, we'll have limited option.

Extended Hiatus

I wanted to have an extended hiatus, just to recharge my mind and soul. I'd like to take a much needed time-off. I've been a busy bee these past few weeks. Busy with family, office work, business and working out to shed some pounds. That results to writing  at a snail’s pace for my blog. I've always wanted to document every OOTD and relate it to how I feel and learn for that particular day. I can't do it because of my busy schedule or maybe I'm just making another excuse..

Fashion is my pill.. I dress up according to how feel or according to my mood. But, whatever you're wearing just enjoy the moment and it'll be priceless.

NEW YEAR- This year is speeding by and February  is just around the corner. While many people wait until New Year's to get their personal lives in order and create the change that they know was long overdue, you shouldn't have to. It is, after all, true that delay is the greatest form of denial.

Petite girls should fear maxi dresses. It's a fact and a fashion myth.hahaha Convincing myself that it's a myth,because I belong to the petite group.Lol. Fashion magazine says " petite should shy away from floor length dresses." Lets break the rule. My inspiration is Nicole Richie, she looks really good on maxi dresses. She's always a darling. This isn't my first maxi dress, I got three. Sometimes, I feel like cleaning the floor..haha I stand 5feet and  2 inches .. I usually rely on my  pumps or stilletos to get those towering height during parties or special event. I have a lot of "tiis ganda moment."

Say hi to my baby bump...hhahahahah You'll never see me in a maternity section in any department store..heheheheh I wanted a normal clothes as long as it's comfy and doesn't hurt my bump.. 
In the meantime, all my pumps will take a rest. I go crazy over flats. I always find time to check cute and comfy flats. They'll be my best pal for 9 months. 

I made this dress. It goes really well with my tweed jacket. It's a chic way to celebrate my pregnancy.

Every woman should own a striped  top that she can bring out every year for casual holiday breaks. A top like this fits in so easily at the beach or on days just messing around doing nothing.

Color of Sadness

When the heart is burdened with sadness, nothing looks bright. It's not easy to shake off the grief. You try to run from it, the more it chases you. You try to savor the pain until you realize that you're done. And you wanted to move on. Sadness flies in time. 

Losing someone you love is hard. You thought we lost everything. You can't hold their hand... You can't tousle their hair.Nothing will matter except  the last conversation you had with them.And the world will seem so quiet. Their things will remain. It’s sadder as time goes by. ... Memory becomes your partner. You hold it... you dance with it.

You start to see life as a time line: before and after. With them and without them. You will be reminded of a random memory of your childhood. A happy memory from “before,” followed by a strike of hurt because they were alive. And everything was good.

I may not have the chance to know you more, but in my heart I know I'll be missing you. I cried secretly everytime I visit you in the hospital. It hurts to see you in pain. I know you're happy now. 

Goodbye is painful if you know you'll never say hello again.

Carpe Diem

For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. I'm leaving Cebu for good..and that is a reality. I may not visit as often, but I will come back. Cebu will always have a huge place in my heart. I met a lot of good friends and made a lot of memories. Living for 3 years in Cebu had thought me so many things. 

These are my becky friends. They always had my back. I love them soo much.

Too bad we're not able to gather all our friends before we left..hehehehe 

Kojak and I will always cherish the life that we had in Cebu. I wanna thank all our friends for making our stay in Cebu extra special. Goodbye for now!!
