Weekend

My dream life would consist of lying on a beach somewhere, catching rays with my man, sipping cocktails from coconuts and washing my worries away in the beach. I know I was made for an island life. LOL

Sometimes people call you lazy, but it just isn’t the case. You’re just super chill and would rather spend your time doing nothing than doing mindless bullsh*t.

Morning

i was never a morning person. i grew up hating mornings. Time flies and a lot of things changed. Nothing last forever huh? LOL. Random things you hate when you were growing up. Now, you are enjoying it.  Waking up at 5-6am is one of many things I now enjoy as I age. I learned to appreciate mornings when I started working in a BPO industry.

The off -shoulder top has always excites me. For a piece that should be so effortless, I find that wearing one leaves me feeling sexy without trying so hard.  Take advantage of the bohemian season.

Basic

Every season, we are barraged with list of new fashion “must-haves” that threaten to burn a hole in our pockets. But I've learned to work on my  existing wardrobe to keep my look current. Girls should own set of basic things depending on their  lifestyle and personal taste. We need to keep the basic stuff like reliable  blazer, a good pair of jeans and stylish ballet flats.

Statement Necklace

I'm always impress if I see someone sporting on a chunky or statement necklace. It takes tons of courage to put on statement necklace, especially if you're the shy type. Most of us consider our work place and lifestyle before wearing one. I get it we don't want to look trying hard. But, I encourage you to try it and if you're not brave enough to pile on as many statement necklaces, just try one or two strands for starters. 

Shorts Story

Take advantage of the urban heat and look gorge while at it. Shorts paired with long sleeve blouse is always a fresh low- key look. Finish off with pretty sandals or flats.

Staycation: Crown Regency

I'm always a believer of  giving your time to someone  is one of the best act of showing your love. When you go out with your spouse, whether it is just a weekend getaway, it allows you to reconnect and spend more time. When you go out with your kids, you are always worried about them. Are they eating enough food? Are they enjoying? Do they need to change their clothes? And so forth. It is hard to take a moment and give your spouse some attention. Going out  without the kids allows you to devote all your attention to your spouse. You can talk, get a couples massage, cuddle, or you can spend the whole day in the hotel room if you want. Being away from your kids for a couple hours or a day helps strengthen your romantic relationship and you get to miss the kids.

These days, it's too easy to send text or email your friends about what's happening in your life. But you're not getting the same giggle when they're infront of you upon sharing the juicy details. I understand everyone is busy and we're trap in the rat race  of life.

Travel Diary: Mati City

Spontaneous trips are always the best. I feel like every time I say yes to a sudden getaway, it's always fun. We decided to go on the spur of the moment.It's a 3 hour drive from Davao City to Mati City. Impressive beach view from the top. 

Jaunt

Watching and listening to beach waves has a calming effect. I want to witness more sunrise and sunset near the beach. I want my kids to enjoy beach as much I do.

Boyfriend Jeans

'Tomboy' jeans or ' Boyfriend' jeans has been around since 1980's, but it seems that its more popular than ever. It's my favorite style. It's comfy and it's perfect for running errands.  Bad thing is I can't wear it at work. We have a strict dress code. 

'Mise en Dior '

'Mise en Dior 'Tribal  inspired earrings is everywhere and it's taking fashionistas by storm. May it be the exact Dior or Dior inspired.
It creates a bold asymmetric effect on these 'Mise en Dior' tribal-inspired earrings. The small pearl rests on the ear while the largest peers out subtly from behind the lobe.  It's a great investment and it comes in different colors.  I will settle with cream colored pearl, for the same reason, it's classic.  I'm a sucker for classic and timeless pieces.
