off duty

The off-duty look is fun to plan ahead of time. Your usual must have items are  jeans, oversize shirt and lots of shorts. Weekends are for relaxing – for you and your style. So always grab an easy to wear and chic pieces. But, it all depends on your style. I'm taking a detour for my off-duty look and opted to create a girly silhouette.

Embroidery

As you age you carefully choose the clothes that fits you and always consider your age. I'm on my late 20's and I'm on the stage where I have to consider every items that I add to my closet. 

Sexy Contrast

Peplum is still hot, so you can never go wrong with peplum skirt.. I just love how it creates illusion and how it  can hide unwanted bulge.LOL Manish top and sexy peplum skirt is  a great combo. I called it 'sexy contrast' because you can note the opposite nature of the denim top and peplum skirt. 

Staycation: Crown Regency

Crown Regency Hotel Davao has this homelike ambiance that can make any guest feel the laid back vibe of the place. The interior was carefully planned. They have a great collection of antique stuffs- from electric fan to cash register.. I wondered where and how the owner got those great things.

Getting Comfy

                  
I'm not afraid of wearing flats everyday, running errands and looking after the kids would be impossible to do in heels, and I feel comfortable and I can maximize my time. I used to think I’d look short but the right flats can actually lengthen you.

I'm always attracted to red stuffs. I blogged about this shoes before on how I got it  from Ninewest. Never tried wearing these pair yet.. But, I'm having a lot of created looks playing in my mind rightnow. LOL I also got myself a new iphone case.. I saw this case from Chiara Ferragni..

Saging Repablik

 We visited the newest resto in Davao. It's a great addition to the ever changing taste of the locals. Saging Repablik is 

located  at Tionko Avenue corner V.Mapa. I loved the ambiance and the food they offer.

Stripes

My dress was crafted from a comfortable stretch fabric. And I got this from Forever21 for only php 490 ($11.14). Such a great price! It's my new favorite staple. I always have a thing for stripes. I'm easily attracted to anything that is stripes. It won't flatter all body shapes because it creates illusion.

You have two fundamental options to consider when choosing between the kinds of stripes to wear: horizontal and vertical. Vertical stripes were always thought to make the you look taller and thinner while horizontal stripes are the more stylish choice. Fashion rule is never wear horizontal stripes if want to look fit..The current craze for nautical stripes puts this rule to bed. 
Stripes is like basic.. Other prints go out of style but stripes is always coming back. 

New In: Ninewest Red Stilletos

Scored this pretty red stilettos  from Ninewest. I've been looking for something like Christian Louboutin Kate shoes since last year..but its soo difficult to find one. Since I can't have Louboutins yet, so I need to find an alternative. Searched it from one mall to another but the long wait is over. I saw these beauty at Ninewest and the original price is php5450 and now they're selling it for php595..Imagine the discount that I got. I felt like I won a lottery..hahahhaha Sometimes it's best to do brisk walking inside the mall..LOL You get to exercise and enjoy the view. You might find treasure along the way. Monday

So often, I find myself reminiscing about past or thinking about the future. There's always a tinge of fear everytime I think of the future.. I woke up today with so many thoughts about future and past. And it's too much to handle.. I wanted to stop and live by the moment.. Raise your hands if you had the same experience..

Who says Sanuk flats need to be only for those days when you're running errands or feeling lazy? Sanuk sidewalk surfers  are pretty, feminine and looks good with almost everything from a sundress to jeans to denim shorts. Running Errands

Running errands should never be boring .. I always remind myself to always dress as if  you were going to see your enemy, regardless if you're just fetching your kids at school or doing grocery.LOL But, I'm too lazy to do it sometimes. I dress according to  my mood instead. 

Weekend Getaway

Years ago fun would  be going to bars, beaches, drink after drink, clubs and  trips to different cities. Now, spending time with my kids, husband and people that mattered to me like friends is  my new definition of "FUN."

Dilemma

Same thing with clothes, hairstyles go through its own cycles of trends. If you stick to one hairstyle, especially a very distinct one, it can make you look dated, especially if you're sporting a hairstyle that doesn't suit your face. It has been my dilemma for the past few months. I can't decide what hairstyle to try on. I'd like to keep my locks long and I wanted to keep my fringes. I wanted to reinvent my hairstyle, but I'm having a hard time deciding.

Dare to Bare

There's nothing wrong with showing some skin if you do it with elegance and grace. We may take advantage while we are still young. As we age, we'll have limited option.

Extended Hiatus

I wanted to have an extended hiatus, just to recharge my mind and soul. I'd like to take a much needed time-off. I've been a busy bee these past few weeks. Busy with family, office work, business and working out to shed some pounds. That results to writing  at a snail’s pace for my blog. I've always wanted to document every OOTD and relate it to how I feel and learn for that particular day. I can't do it because of my busy schedule or maybe I'm just making another excuse..

Fashion is my pill.. I dress up according to how feel or according to my mood. But, whatever you're wearing just enjoy the moment and it'll be priceless.
